Watch it Wednesday: RIP Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin

A man who really lived in the fast lane, Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin tragically died today in a spear fishing accident on the Gold Coast. Our hearts go out to Alex's family & friends in this time.

Chumpy was a 2x World Champ in BoarderX, represented Australia in 3 Olympic Games, and was our Flag Bearer at the Sochi 2014 Winter Games. He was always a fierce competitor, and his results and notoriety reflected this fact. Chumpys' passing is a huge loss for the boardsports community. His legacy will live on, and his commitment to snowboarding and lust for life will inspire future generations of riders for years to come.

We originally had another web series planned for this instalment of 'Watch it Wednesday', however after hearing the news this afternoon, we decided to dedicate it to Chumpy, who in recent years, had been documenting his life on and off the road in his webisode series.

So have a watch and raise a glass to an Australian snowboarding icon, Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin:
